SUMMER HILL COTTAGE

The project brief was to transform this cottage’s rear garden into a secluded, functional space which reconnected to the home and brought local bird and wildlife back in.

To achieve this, we drew inspiration from the Australian narrative and incorporated native plants and raw materials. This allowed us to produce a contemporary interpretation of the classic Australian cottage garden, which included a low-maintenance vegetable garden and a formal custom-built water feature.
